Sorry for the long delay, don’t hold it against me. We are in the process of getting back up and running after an extended alien encounter. The election is in full swing with August mudslinging, the Chinese just threw a huge opening Olympics ceremony. What more could we possibly want?

It seems that Oklahoma is packed with a bunch of people that are mentally handicapped, even their elected officials seem unable to act rationally.  The House of Representatives in that state has recently passed a bill saying that religion comes before education, here is a great article. At the root of this is the science of intelligent design. It kills me that people actually think that evolution is a sham.  I think that these people should be denied modern medicine in times of sickness, let them ponder intelligent design while a mutated super-bacteria slowly eats away at their flesh.

From the newly revised Oklahoma Textbooks, here is the definition of Intelligent Design

This dude totally kicks ass.  He is 101 years old and just ran a half marathon.  The kicker is that he stopped and took a break for a beer and a cigarette.  Good work Buster, gotta give you props.

Here is another story I found a while back about a 61 year old farmer who won Australia’s ultramarathon.  This is an awesome story, here is a quick excerpt:

He finished the 875-kilometre race in 5 days, 15 hours and 4 minutes.
Not knowing that he was supposed to sleep during the race, he said when
running throughout the race, he imagined that he was chasing sheep and
trying to outrun a storm.

Barack has won the VT democratic primary.  Will be watching Ohio and Texas and RhodeIsle. 

I have am finally fed up enough with Network Solutions to start switching my sites over to another host.  I decided on Bluehost after a couple recommendations and checking out their site.  $6.95/mo for hosting, domains are $9.99/yr.  This gets me 1500GB of storage and 15,000GB of transfer a month amongst a wealth of other features.  On top of that, it seems they are very flexible, not like Network Solutions, who would just give me a flat no everytime I called with a request.  Working on setting up a test Joomla site at www.UnionandKing.com.  Will work on a WordPress site next.  

Since my beer and coffee diet does not seem to be working, I figured I would see if adding a bit of exercise would help.
