Why don’t we spend a little money on putting some sweet cameras into space… what a crappy video. I hate to keep going back to Star Wars… but a couple R2′s circling the globe could go a long way.
Last night we did a filming for an episode of Late Night Saturday that will air on March 1. More details to follow, we are up to something with Tim Kav.
Redbull’s new 16.9 oz cans are available in the Burlington area. I was a Rockstar man for a long time, but I think that this may be a turning point. There is something in Redbull that really kicks me in the balls and get me going. Very helpful when I am up all night at IBM or trying to wake up on a Friday morning.
Fort Minor is playing on the iPod, I am just now getting around to listening to the Rising Tied. I am on my third album listen and I am very impressed.
There is snow falling in Burlington and we have the big Mardi Gras parade tomorrow. I am always a fan of events that encourage day-time alcohol consumption, I am gonna be sauced by noon tomorrow. After spending hours last night trying to configure posts from my phone, I have hit a wall. It appears that Network Solutions does not allow any of the wordpress extensions to access a pop server and check for new emails. This is very disappointing to me…
In related news, I am currently looking for a new web host in the Burlington area. I am done with the big guys and am looking for someone reasonably priced and flexible enough to provide the features I require. I am tired of getting “sorry we don’t support xxxx” replies for simple requests. I need a host that can grow with my needs, that can host Joomla and WordPress sites, and that has someone available who can talk tech. If you run a hosting company in Burlington, drop me a line!
I was very pleased today when my landlord informed me that the Obama campaign will be renting the front of our shop for use as their Burlington headquarters. I look forward to working with the campaign in the coming weeks. Here is the spot… stop by and show them some love. Why not load up the car with items for GTP to sell on eBay?
In other news, Obama has won his 9th straight in Wisconsin WINSconsin. Hawaii should be posting results after 1am EST.
A Clinton campaign manager reported today that they intended to begin working to convince pledged delegates whose constituents voted for Obama to come over to her side. Is it just me or is this essentially saying that our votes don’t count? I know this is a close race, but shouldn’t the will of the American people be the most important factor to any candidate?
It appears that the Supreme Court has turned down an appeal from the ACLU that would allow them to pursue a lawsuit against the program that wiretapped millions of innocent americans. To add insult, they did so without remark.
When the Supreme Court has no interest in upholding our constitutional rights we have a real problem. I think MSNBC’s Keith Olbermann put it best….

I am finally setting up mobile phone blogging, or moblogging as some people call it. The goal is to set up my blog so that I can take a picture on my motorola Q and send it via MMS to my blog. I am currently using Verizon Wireless so I need a way to strip their bullshit text that they add to every MMS message. This is what they add:

I have found a wordpress extension called Postie that should do they trick, it claims to have a feature that allows you to strip a signature which I will use to get rid of this Verizon text. We’ll see soon enough.
